With 5 bedrooms encompassing 3 levels, private pool, and 1100 square feet of balconies offering gulf views and breezes, it is the perfect vacation home for guests seeking an upscale beach retreat.
This charming Florida home has many custom finishes, including high ceilings, pine floors and wainscoting, The home’s private pool can be heated for a fee, allowing enjoyment in any season. The covered rear porch area has a gas grill and outdoor table seating for 8. Just past the pool area a palm tree-lined pedestrian path leads to the neighborhood’s beach walkover 130 yards away. With only 26 homesites and security gate, Water’s Edge has almost no car traffic.
The open kitchen/living area encourages togetherness. Slipcovered furniture, including sleeper sofa, is comfortable and inviting. An armoire houses board games, TV, DVD, CD and wifi. The gourmet kitchen has hand painted cabinets, granite countertops, GE Profile stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar that seats 4. The charming dining room is located just off the entry and has a long farmhouse table with seating for 8. The first floor has one bedroom furnished with a queen bed. Its private bath has a walk-in shower and single vanity.
Upstairs, the second floor landing has gulf-view balcony access and houses the laundry alcove with stackable washer/dryer. Three bedrooms – a bunkroom and king - share a hall bath equipped with combination tub/shower with glass enclosure and single vanity. The king bedroom has windows with partial gulf views. The second floor’s third bedroom is the master. Furnished with king bed, it has balcony access and a luxurious private bath with deep jetted tub, separate walk-in shower and dual vanity.
The third floor consists of a mini-suite with wood floors and furnished with full bed, bistro table for 2, wet bar and TV. Its private bath has a walk-in shower and single vanity. The suite has a deep private balcony with gulf views.
Rosemary Beach Town Center is a mere 3 blocks to the east, with numerous options for shopping, dining and special events. Seaside is approximately 7 miles to the west. Water’s Edge is located on the Timpoochee Trail, a 19-mile paved pedestrian/bike path running the length of Scenic Highway 30A past rare coastal dune lakes and through the picturesque coastal neighborhoods unique to the area. One of the reasons we picked the property that we did was due to multiple reviews of how wonderful the grill was. However, when we went to use the grill, it was disgustingly dirty. It had food stuck to it and stank so horribly that we didn't think we could even clean it in the amount of time we had before dinner. Also, the pool had not been cleaned before we came, nor had the pool toys been put away. We found children's flip-flops and a few other personal items, so we wondered if the backyard had not been picked up. Other than that, our stay was wonderful and we really enjoyed the inside of the house!

The pool companies typically clean and service the pools once a week, however we have had some rough storms lately which can definitely make a pool very dirty very quick. Perfect trip! Barefoot Daze was awesome! Every detailed covered! Plenty of space for our 3 families. The pool, the gate on the back porch preventing the little ones from getting in the pool, the daily umbrella and chair rental, Disney Junior 's the little things when traveling with two 3 yr olds! Could not have asked for more. Royal Beach Rentals was awesome also. We had to call them once for a slow drain and they sent someone right over and took care of it. Everything about our trip was wonderful and we can't wait to go back!
