This 3-bedroom Crossings condo occupies ground floor and one level for easy access to the beach or the pool. Drop wet towels in the laundry room after a visit to the pool or beach.
The master has a balcony and view of the beach include a king bed and armoire with 32” television and DVD. The luxurious private bath has a deep, jetted tub and travertine shower, dual granite vanity and separate water closet, plus a large walk in closet. It feels secluded, with calming views of natural vegetation growing along the massive dunes, yet is only steps to the community pool. Glass doors open to a covered veranda, gated for easy boardwalk access, and furnished with a pair of chaises for lounging.
The open living/dining area is filled with light via a wall of windows overlooking dunes interrupted with glimpses of emerald gulf waters. A sofa, loveseat and two chairs face a huge flatscreen TV, also easily visible from the table for six in the adjacent dining area. Glass doors lead to a covered veranda furnished with lounging chairs. The gourmet kitchen has custom cabinets and granite countertops, plus stainless appliances including a Viking dual fuel range.
A half bath is conveniently located off the main entrance. Both bedrooms have televisions and private baths. The king guest bedroom’s bath is equipped with a combination tub and shower. The twin bedroom has two beds, and a bath with combination tub and shower also.
WaterSound Beach is located on the Timpoochee Trail, a paved pedestrian/bike path running the entire length of Highway 30A. It is 5 miles east of Watercolor and Seaside and 3 miles west of Rosemary Beach, all with abundant shopping and dining. Four major shopping, dining and entertainment destinations are within 22 miles, including: Grand Boulevard, Silver Sands Factory Stores, Destin Commons, and Pier Park.
Golfers can choose from award-winning courses including Camp Creek, Kelly Plantation and Windswept Dunes, plus Shark’s Tooth, Origins and Santa Rosa Beach Golf and Beach Club.

Royal beach rentals does a wonderful job with managing expectations on a very busy spring break week. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. One thing that the property lacks (compared to other properties we've rented) is beach chairs and/or umbrellas to use, cooler and/or beach towels. I understand why they may not, but it's nice to not have to pack those items or buy down there. Other than that, we love the neighborhood, and look forward to going back!

We had a wonderful week at a very nice unit. The weather, water temp & clarity, and vast beach were incredible. Our first impression when we walked into the unit was delight at the overall size and appearance of the unit. Everything was in good working order and very clean. The only slight improvements I would suggest is the lighting is not great in certain rooms and the lack of shades or blinds into the dining/living/kitchen area is a little uncomfortable. My wife and I are beach people and the size of beach serving the Watersound community is phenomenal. We walk a lot and there is nothing to compare. We had our daughter and 4 year old grandson with us and they had a ball! One previous review commented on the inaccuracy of the discounts provided by Royal. I did have a similar experience looking for the discount at Camp Creek Golf Course. They said the discount only pertained to guests renting through Watersound and not a property management company. Finally, if you do want to stay at this facility and you want a view of the beach, this unit is the "only" first floor unit at the Crossings that has a view. All of the others are looking at the vegetation on the dunes. We were very grateful we ended up in this unit.

While we do offer discounts at area golf courses, sometimes communities themselves like Watersound have separate discounts they offer as well. Great Condo for Small Children

The WaterSound condo was perfect for our family of 4. We have 2 small children (ages 11 months and 3 years) and we could easily walk the 350 yards to the beach or 50 yards to the pool. This condo is the ONLY first floor, single floor unit with a view of the beach. We cooked every meal and the kitchen had what I needed to make our meals. I did bring a small food processor. The Viking gas top worked great, but the oven cooked very unevenly. Even so, it was not that big of an issue for me. My only complaint is that we found the beds uncomfortable. The master king bed was really hard and had a waterproof mattress pad that rustled every time you moved. I also slept in the guest king bed and found it not as bad, but I still didn't get a great night's sleep. We were there 12 nights, so that was the only downside. One warning - there are biting flies (dog flies) that show up in this area when the winds blow from the NORTH. We were swarmed outside our first couple of days here - the bites hurt and bug spray only slightly deterred the buggers. I panicked, did a few Google searches, and learned that the flies pretty much disappear when the winds blow from any other direction than north. So, when the weather gets cooler and less humid, you might have biting flies to deal with.

Choosing to visit the newly growing area for my 30th birthday just wanted to try something different this year. Overall the property itself and the access to the beach are in a great location. The property could use a little more attention to detail in being cleaned, i.e., as most do not like to shower and find past guests body hair. Also, not expecting to wear flip flops indoors as typically you expect the sand on your feet while on the beach. For your convenience (assuming) a vacuum is left for you. Make sure to pack a hairdryer, tissue, clothes detergent, coffee filters, etc., as those items are not provided. We confirmed a noon check out while picking up our keys, but informed if a new reservation was made we would be informed of any changes. This was again confirmed 2x's through guest services during our stay. BUT, 10 am day of check out, housekeeping was at front door saying "we were not informed". This was one of many examples showing the non-communication of staff. Please, please make sure you go over in detail the website, and ask any questions as the marketing team has done a spectacular job. Once you arrive, paid in full, not much you can do! "$25 per person, per day", you may hear more than once. Several of our "neighbors" informed us in sharing the same miscommunications, but as the realty office informed me, I should be happy being offered to pay the amount per person as only some of the properties have the option. Meaning, if the property's owner was a beach club member (like the resort pool, tiki hut, and fitness center). If the realty company has "nothing to do with the beach club, and that is completely separate" why would the website show pictures of the beach club??!! We will not be returning guest through this realty company again, but do look forward to visiting the area in general again. But for now, back to our consistent and friendly realty company.

This kit is offered in an effort to get you started until you have the opportunity to visit a local store. Every owner in Watersound has the option of purchasing access to the Beach Club. The property that you stayed in did in fact offer you this access. That is why we display photos and information relating to the Beach Club, in an effort to inform our rental guests of that amenity. We enjoyed our stay in C-105. The condo was spacious and clean. The views out onto the dunes and ocean were lovely, and the ability to walk from our patio out to the beach was very convenient. We watched dolphins play from our patio while drinking coffee. It was peaceful and did not feel like we were staying in a complex. Having beach towels and hair dryers provided would have made it even more convenient for travelers wanting to pack less. Overall great experience.
