The property was beautiful and very clean. However, the beach access was not ideal. It would be perfect if access was provided from the pool area. The stay was relaxing and I loved driving in to Seaside and Seagrove!

Great Time in Santa Rosa

Our recent stay at Cypress Haven in Santa Rosa Beach was great. Positives included the condition of the house, its roominess, and the quality of the decor and comfort (sofas, chairs, beds, etc.). And the pool was awesome. Overall this was a great place to stay, despite the 5 minute drive to the beach.
While the negatives didn't outweigh the positives, they need highlighting. The grill was a mess-it needed serious cleaning. Our keys didn't work well-the front door was difficult to lock and unlock and caused alot of frustration. The check out time was far too early considering the 20-30 min drive we had to make to turn in the keys. And finally, the trash situation was horrendous-only one pickup per week (with no consistent time of pickup, no less). A raccoon got into the trash and it had to be housed on the neighbor's screened in porch-had that house been occupied, I don't know what we would have done with the trash.
Overall great stay-just take care of the negatives and it would have been extravagantly superb.
Manager Response Grills are being cleaned after every rental now. The Anderson doors are difficult to open and lock until the mechanism of them is understood. The owners are contacting a locksmith to evaluate them.
